ACQW Outreach Programs
St. George's Church Community Lunches
This important community outreach program started in May 2000 during the beginning of the shutdowns due to Covid. Spearheaded by a dedicated group of volunteers, we decided to help meet a very real need in our community and provide free healthy brown bag lunches to anyone in our community who needed one. The program has grown since then to not only include the handing out of take-out meals, but to also offer a sit down option in the hall where people may wish to eat their meals. In addition to this, we deliver meals to people that are unable to come out to get them.
